Stop Making Friends is Pauley Perrette's newest project in which she writes songs based on her poetry and prose and records them with friends. It is an ongoing artistic and collaborative undertaking combining Pauley's writings and various musicians.  Pauley has the Stop Making Friends Logo tattooed on her right middle finger

In addition to playing eccentric forensic scientist Abby Sciuto on NCIS since the series began, Pauley is a poet and spoken-word artist, a music fanatic and writer/composer, a fervent civil rights activist, a published writer, documentary producer and a photographer.  She has an extensive background in music, owning her own independent record label and fronting several bands. 

Stop Making Friends' track, "Fear" was a love letter Pauley wrote to herself in effort to overcome her own anxieties.  The track is available exclusively on NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack and will be featured in a Season 6 episode of NCIS in 2009.
